GabyArtDesign makes beautiful handmade Silver symbols from the Earlyer Rune Row known as the Futhark. It consists of 24 alphabetical symbols, each one have its own name and sound. The meaning of the word Rune is whisper and that is what the historical text that follow each symbol do... they whisper! The tale about the Runes comes from the ancient Nordic story of creation. In the Nordic mythology it is told that the patron deity of the Runes - Oden - in self sacrifice hanged upside down in the big Three of life, an Ash tree known asYggdrasil. After Oden have been hanging in the tree for nine days and nights in the Tree of life. Oden was enlighted whith the knowledge and the mening of the Runes.
